ABOUT TRACY
Tracy Hetherington is a graphic artist and illustrator with a background in fine art printmaking. She received a BFA at the Nova Scotia University of Art and Design and a graphic design certificate through BCIT/Emily Carr University of Art and Design. Her favourite subjects include the natural world, time, and sustainability. She loves graphic novels/comics, lithography/relief printmaking, botanical illustration, 2D frame by frame animation, and is working to build her book cover design portfolio.
Tracy is also an avid library advocate, supporting public libraries, lifelong learning, and public access to information. She worked in a large, diverse municipal library system for many years and has graphic design experience marketing for non-profit organizations. She shifted careers to freelance illustration and design in 2023.
